Some countries require you to obtain a Letter of Invitation (LOI) before you can apply for a visa. This is a document issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an agency, business, company, or national of that particular country, inviting you to visit the country for a period of time. Once issued, it is then used to support your visa application. The LOI typically contains your personal information and the details of your trip. If you do require an LOI for your application, you won’t be able to apply for a visa without it.
